Free COVID-19 Testing To Be Held In Shaker Heights

SHAKER HEIGHTS, OH — Free COVID-19 testing will be available at the Shaker Heights Fire Station on Dec. 22. Testing will be conducted by the Cuyahoga County Board of Health and MetroHealth. Anyone interested in receiving a test must pre-register online or by calling 216-957-3939. Phone lines will be open Tuesday through Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. To register online, use the passcode "SHAKER34". "If timed slots are full, please register for a walk-up appointment. Walk-up appointments may have to wait in a line, which typically moves quickly. You may remain in your car for a walk-up appointment. Walk-up appointments are also limited, so please pre-register as soon as possible," the city of Shaker Heights said in a statement. Masks are required of all attendees. Anyone under 18 receiving a test must be accompanied by a guardian. The Shaker Heights Fire Station is at 17000 Chagrin Boulevard.
