Production Overhire 2021 Florida Studio Theatre, a professional LORT D regional Theatre with five active theatre spaces, located in downtown Sarasota, FL is seeking skilled artisans to work as Production Overhire in our Scene and Costume shop. This is for positions that are currently open and future consideration. Scenic Overhire are project-based team members responsible for the assembly, modification, maintenance, and disassembly/disposal of scenic elements for various productions throughout our year-round operations. Costume Overhire are project-based team members who are responsible for stitching and making any necessary finishes for assigned costumes throughout our year-round operations. All pay is hourly and various calls for assistance will be made throughout the year. Overhire will only participate in work as their schedule allows and when needed by Florida Studio Theatre. Thus – times, days and hours will all vary. Must have local housing in Sarasota/Bradenton or be wiling to transport yourself. All applicants must be fully vaccinated for COVID19.
