CHARLOTTE, NC — The NASCAR Plaza in downtown Charlotte will now be known as550 South, according to the Charlotte Business Journal. The 20-story building is home to the NASCAR Hall of Fame, and boasts 395,000-square-feet at 550 South Caldwell St. Cousins Properties owns the building and made the change. The NASCAR Hall of Fame is owned by the City of Charlotte, licensed by NASCAR and operated by the Charlotte Regional Visitors Authority.
