Description
I am a semi-retired pseudo multi-instrumentalist that played drums, guitar and bass back in the 60's & 70's who never got to play at full potential since life always got in the way with family, kids, grand-kids, business, etc. My oldest child is 48 and my youngest is 25 so yes, I have had more than my share of distractions, but as my youngin's keep telling me that now it's my turn, I'm ready to make it so. Not looking for professionals, but musicians that are into the 60's, 70's and some 80's Old Thyme Rock n Roll, Classics, Country-Rock era of great tunes. A co-ed group would be beyond my wildest fantasies and if anyone has a voice that could actually carry a tune, so much the better. I have 2 young male & female family members for the vocals that are knock-outs and will take care of those high and low notes and everything in between. My ideal set-up would be guitar, bass, keyboards, drums and an occasional sax fronted by the 2 aforementioned heart-throbs. My contribution would be keyboards most of the time as I do not have the stamina for drums, plus guitar and bass make my fingertips tingle. Will also need a seriously stocked rehearsal site to get up to speed with. I realize that this is a lot to ask for, but at my age, time is not on my side. We are non-smokers and are fully vaxed with boosters. We are neither boozers nor druggies, however, a beer, cocktail or a fine wine, on social occasions are in our DNA. I thank you for taking the time to read this and I hope I have left you in good spirits and anxious to give your senior status a jump start. I have no clue as to if I will get a single reply, but I feel that this is my last shot, so I need to try. Happy Trails!
