Vet At Your Door, a fast-growing and award-winning house call veterinary practice, is looking for a fabulous veterinary technician or veterinary assistant to team up with a doctor in the field. We are looking for an LVT or assistant to fill a position in each of our branches (Maine High Peaks Area and the Portland/Augusta Area). You would be the veterinarian’s “right-hand person” while ensuring a top-notch client and patient veterinary experience. Not only would you be in front of the clients, helping to handle the animals and nurture the client relationship, but you would also be doing a lot of "behind the scenes" work including managing inventory and calls and emails. We treat our team like gold, believing that when our team members are happy, it allows us to practice our best medicine. Oh, and NO WEEKENDS. If you are: • Someone who doesn’t need to be told what to do, you just do it because it’s what’s needed • Passionate and knowledgeable about animal restraint, high-quality veterinary care, and superb customer service. • A person who has a legion of raving fans • A people-person (not just an animal lover, you love people too) • Someone who sees yourself reflected in your work • Someone who doesn’t get car sick and has a great sense of humor (on the road, it helps!) • Fully Vaccinated for COVID-19 (required for in-field work) Then you might be a great fit!
