Nursery - Plant Receiving and Maintenance

Rolling Greens Nursery is looking for someone to receive, identify and inspect (for quality) interior and exterior plants at our Central Distribution Center in downtown LA. This person will also maintain all of the plants on our property and keep the landscape holding area clean, maintained and organized for various landscape jobs. Must be familiar with a wide variety of interior and exterior plants and be able to identify them and know how to maintain them - in the ground and in containers. Must have some basic administration skills to sort plants based on landscape proposals. Must be proficient in reading, writing and speaking English. This position will require working on your feet most of the day and lifting required off and on all day - up to 50-75 pounds at a time. This position is mostly outdoors and in a warehouse environment, so exposure to the elements and a moderate amount of noise are the working conditions. Good company with benefits and paid time off!
