Our management, sales and engineering groups, comprise over 150 years of combined experience in the architectural wood door, finishing and veneer market. PAWP niche is built on our ability to quickly provide any available veneer from well-established veneer suppliers in both domestic and exotic species. We are currently looking for a talented Maintenance Technician with strong Mechanical and Electrical skills to join our Maintenance team. Maintenance Technician will perform functions associated with all production/equipment listed below. RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible for preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and sustaining. Competent to complete legible service documents and logs for preventative maintenance tasks. Interpret manufacturers’ technical manuals to perform necessary maintenance and repairs. The Equipment Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing scheduled and un-scheduled maintenance on equipment and works closely with the factory management team to prioritize job tasks Work closely with peers, supervisor, and engineering team to deeply understand root cause failure and use those learnings to continuously improve equipment availability to meet production goals Stocking facilities, first aid kit and maintaining inventory Bulk waste, recycling and trash removal Minor and major preventative maintenance on equipment. Repairs and replaces defective parts, lubricates and cleans parts Deliver and pick up of parts and materials Flexibility to adapt to rapidly changing priorities and responsibilities Hands-on participation and strong sense of ownership Ability to work under minimum supervision in a fast paced, high volume production environment Stocking facilities, first aid kit and maintaining inventory Bulk waste, recycling and trash removal QUALIFICATIONS Mechanical or Technical Certification or related maintenance experience of 5+ years or equivalent military training preferred Able to lift 50lbs unassisted / 100+lbs team assisted and be on your feet for the shift. Experience with the following: basic electrical wiring and electrical pneumatics. Schematics involving low voltage communication, electrical and pneumatics. Proficient skills with basic shop tools (CNC, drill press, hand tools, power saws etc.) to fabricate or modify components and assemblies. Build, calibrate, maintain, troubleshoot, or repair electrical and mechanical tools and test equipment including but not limited to: hand tools, drill press, table saw, CNC router, hot press, etc. General knowledge of lean manufacturing preferred General knowledge of wood preferred THE BENEFITS Bonus-Profit sharing Full Time, typical shift: 6AM - 2:30 PM Monday – Friday 7 paid holidays Medical, dental and vision insurance 4% company-matched 401(k) savings plan APPLY NOW! · Send us your resume and schedule an interview.
