We are seeking a general maintenance handyman for our 38 resident senior care home in Solano County, just west of UC Davis about eight miles. This requires competency in various handyman repairing and maintenance skills: - grounds keeping - room remodeling - electrical - plumbing - painting We have someone currently, but he recently had a child and needs to cut his hours for a couple of months to help with care. Accordingly, this opportunity will make up the hours that he's unavailable. He believes that he'll be cutting back to about half time - maybe twenty hours, so our need will be for about the twenty hours which he can't work. We are not hiring an employee, this is for a 1099 subcontractor, so there are no scheduling requirements. This is projects based so you can make your own schedule as you desire. Please note that you will be required to pass a background check to work on a senior care property so please do not apply if you have ANY issues in your background. You will be wasting everyone's time. Please submit a resume document, but more importantly, please tell us about your general skills. We need someone who is as similarly well rounded as our current handyman / maintenance guy as you will not be working with him, but rather when he's not there so you'll need to work without guidance.
