Montana Timber Products is looking for the right people for full-time production positions in our Caldwell, Idaho facility. Pay starts at $15/hour along with: 4 Paid Holidays Paid Time Off Health Insurance Production Positions are involved in many areas of our production process including, but not limited to, texturing, sizing, profiling, packaging, and other projects as assigned. • Pull and stack hardwood lumber quickly and safely according to dimensions and grade • Adhering to all plant safety and environmental guidelines, policies and procedures while proactively seeking out potential safety hazards. • Maintaining a clean and orderly work environment. • Using blowers, brooms, and other equipment to clean up debris in and around machines to ensure a safe work environment for all employees • Performing housekeeping functions to aid in keeping machinery running smoothly, reducing safety and fire hazards, maintaining environmental controls, and maintaining the appearance of the plant. • Working in various areas throughout the mill to help meet or exceed facility and company production and quality goals. • Assisting team members throughout the mill as needed during the production of lumber. • Working collaboratively as a team to meet or exceed production and quality goals while keeping waste at minimal levels. • Working in a non-climate-controlled environment with the possibility of standing, kneeling, walking for long periods of time. • Accurately place the lumber in the assigned carts. • Operate control panels to move lumber through the mill. • Physically handle lumber so that every board is ready for the next operation. Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds regularly. Must be able to stand for entire shift. Must be able to bend, twist, reach above shoulder level on a regular basis. Must be able to work outdoors or in a non-climate-controlled environment. Must be able to operate small equipment such as paint sprayers, mixers, chop saw, and hand tools.
