Posting on behalf of friend who is heartbroken that she needs to find them a new home due to a hip injury. They are from the same litter and turned 7 years on 1/1/2021. They are sweet and large and we must find a home willing to take both of them. They are both trained and fixed. Please see notes below and text with inquiries. She will include their kennels, toys, collar and leashes plus any food and treats we have on hand at the time.. We reserve the right to interview and choose the best fitting home for these two sweet and loving dogs. 1 male, 115 pounds, neutered. He is very sensitive and sweet. Lays by your feet until he gets too hot then finds a cooler spot on the floor to lay. 1 female, 85-90 pounds, spayed. She is very independent and athletic. Loves to run, jump and play with people!! They LOVE people especially meeting new people and going for car rides and walks. They are barkers especially when someone is at the door or meeting a new dog on a walk. They have long hair that sheds. They are indoor dogs and love being outside in the winter for a time, but not an extended period of time or overnight. In summer they prefer air conditioning due to their long hair. They will do best in home with a large yard that is enclosed by a fence or invisible fence. Have done well around other animals (cats/dogs) but will bark at other dogs especially on walks. Best to take time to introduce them to your existing pets. Since this is a large breed they would do best with kids that are stable walkers (4-5 years+). They don’t need a ton of exercise but like to go for walks and run around the yard. Dogs will need grooming. We will charge a small adoption fee to protect against bad actors and animal testers.
