Description

We are a mid-size facility producing industrial equipment and structural steel elements for the Material Handling industry and are currently looking for entry level employees. We are willing to work with and train individuals with inadequate knowledge in any of the below essential duties and responsibilities. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Operation of machinery involved in the fabrication of various types of machinery and structures. This may include operation of plate shears, iron-workers, drilling, tapping and sawing operations. • Proficiency in the use of all fabrication hand tools, including drills, grinders, cutting tools, squares, levels, etc. Working knowledge of tape measures, including reading fractions and angles. • Understanding, proficiency, and safe use of overhead cranes and rigging techniques. • Understanding, proficiency, and safe usage of lift trucks. • Proficiency in the reading and understanding CAD drawings. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: • All tasks must be performed up to quality standards of the company. • Proficient verbal and written communication skills. • Overtime and weekend work required on occasion to complete jobs. • Possess personal skills to enable person to work well with other members of the team in completing job duties. • Ability to work an alternative work schedule (4-10s) 5:00am-3:30pm
