Name: Lucy Breed: Shepherd mix Age: 2 years(?) Size: 44lbs Sex: female Spayed: yes I got Lucy from the Denton animal shelter last January. I’ve almost had her a year. She needs a home where she can get more attention from some patient people who have other dogs as well. She just never really warmed up to my family. I live with 4 other people and I’m the only one she’ll let come near her. Unfortunately I work a lot and can’t spend as much time with her as she needs. I do not know what her past was but it must have been pretty traumatic as she gets spooked really easily and freaks out around strangers. She does really well with other dogs and still has a lot of puppy energy when she’s comfortable in her surroundings. I would really like her to go to a good home and go to someone who will be able to spend time with her and care for her. Other notes Has never bit anyone. Sometimes she plays a little rough with other dogs but is friendly. However she does growl and bark when scared. She has never hurt me though and always calms down when I comfort her. Does well in the car. May be allergic to chicken. Has thrown up two different times after eating. Likes being outside with space to play.
