The Repack Associate is responsible for the accurate and efficient completion of packaging work to ensure it is completed on time and in a safe manner. We package fresh produce. Master cases can weigh 50 lbs. Work is performed in a refrigerated warehouse. This position's work is performed in a standing position. An eye for detail is required to ensure quality meets standards. Job Type: Full-time Pay: $16.00 per hour Key Performance Objectives include: 1. Accurately and efficiently performs all assigned repack work in a timely manner. 2. Provides transparent communication inter-departmentally to ensure smooth operations. 3. Observes all safety requirements and maintains awareness of surrounding environment to ensure safe operations. 4. Comply with food safety standards. Operational Responsibilities Identifies any problems to ensure repack cases are meeting quality standards. Accurately uses WMS (warehouse management system) equipment and processes related to packaging products. Understands par levels for all repack items. Reviews items for quality and product expiration dates. Examines and inspects stock for defects, reporting any master case damage to supervisors. Follows all handling and reporting procedures for allergens. Monitors product temperatures to ensure they are correct. Handles products with proper care to prevent damage and waste. Use RF Scanners properly. Uses, cleans and maintains supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas in order to ensure compliance with company sanitation and safety regulations. Participates in maintaining a safe work environment; using safe lifting, pushing, pulling & reaching skills at all times. Wear non-slip protected toe shoes when in the warehouse. Only operates equipment in which you are trained and certified to operate. Immediately notifies supervisor/manager of unsafe conditions. Attends warehouse & safety meetings. APPLY:
