Swann Communications is seeking a Shipping Associate and a Receiving Associate to join their team. Swann Communications is looking to fill two roles. The Shipping Associate and Receiving Associates each have critical role in Swann Operations. As a Shipping Associate at Swann Communications, you will: Perform picking, packing and shipping functions meeting or exceeding productivity and quality goals set by management. Use forklifts and other warehouse tools safely and efficiently in accordance to the company's Safety regulations. Pick, pack and ship orders according to proper procedure with use of mobile scanner. Pack product into boxes, using mobile scanning system, following best practices for reducing excess package void space. Add spacers, air bubble, and protective padding as needed to prevent product from damaging in transit. Understand of shipping software and can create shipping documents as required. Verify outgoing shipments. Such as counts, weights, and box or pallet information to against the shipping documents and order requirements. Performs verification that all shipments meet all customer specifications. Follow time clock requirements. Operate tier-lift truck or use of hand truck to move, convey, or hoist shipments to various work areas. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager. As a Receiving Associate at Swann Communications, you will: Help to maintain Inventory control accuracy Log Incoming stock, returns and supplies Complete accurate computer input of returns by 12:00 pm. daily. Perform inventory counts of items received in returns Maintain warehouse appearance Coordinate with other co-workers to maintain the receiving process running smoothly Key Competencies To Be Successful: Computer Literate Attention to detail Critical Thinking Manages time well Communicates effectively and follows instructions Judgment and Decision Maker Active Listener Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent Minimum 1 year warehouse shipping Basic computer skills (SAP a plus) RF Scanner experience is preferred Forklift experience a plus (We will certify) General understanding of warehouse / shipping operations Be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
