Description
In June 2021, my mother in law died suddenly from cov 19. Her beloved cat, Bitz, was left without his companion who had raised him from a kitten. Bitz started life as an abandoned kitten near some stockyards. One of my brother in laws rescued him and took him to live with my Mother in law. Being a cat person, she took him in and raised him. He's lived a great life in a loving home well fed and well cared for. Unfortunately, since June he's lived alone in the house. The family stops in and keeps him fed, watered and gives what attention we can, but with lives to live we cannot obviously spend the time with him he needs. Why haven't we taken him in? Well my daughter and I are deathly allergic (not kidding we both get sinus and bronchial infections if around cats too long) and the other family members are in similar positions or have animals that would not be compatible. Bitz is a very loving cat but would be best in a home with no kids or at least older kids (he lived with a single woman so just not used to them) and has not lived with other pets, but I'm sure could be introduced if done so properly with care. We have talked to all the local shelters and rescues but no one is accepting or helping additional pets. We care about this cat because he was our mom's cat so we would really love to work to rehome him in the proper setting. Rehoming fee to ensure good home but we will provide him with a YEAR's worth of food and litter supplies. He is neutered, declawed in front, up to date on shots. He is healthy and in desperate need of a loving home. He looks so sad looking out the window every time we leave. Please text or call so we can arrange a meeting to see if we can connect you with a dependable friend named Bitz
