Sunset Hike To Mount Battie This hike is beginner and dog friendly.. as long as your dog is friendly! We will be a small group taking the Old Carriage Road trail up to Mount Battie with plenty of photo ops at the top. This time of year is very special because they have a lit holiday star attached to the old tower which has been a tradition since the 1960's. If you bring a dog, please act responsibly when loading and unloading your pet from the vehicle. I am looking to connect people on the trails! Most of the events hosted will be walking/hiking women based groups but keep your eyes open, I may offer more eventually! My focus will be trying to incorporate friendly dogs into our hikes and to help people gain confidence on the trails. I want to get people on the trails that are nervous to go alone and build friendships while we enjoy something we love! I am based out of central Maine, however, I am willing to get groups together and travel all over the state!
