Come and experience rest and connection through this experiential event! Brown GIrl Somatics is a soulful mixture of Thomas Hannah daily somatic routine , self-massage and yoga nidra. Join us as Tecca Thompson of Sacred Healing Spaces Women leads in a session to deeply connect and awaken our bodies with self-massage, gentle somatic movement and practice restorative rest through the practice of yoga nidra. *** Thomas Hanna defines somatics as, "The field of study dealing with somatic phenomena, i.e., the human being as experienced by himself (or herself) from the inside." He defines soma as the body experienced from within. "Sacred Healing Spaces is platform for Women of Color to find rest, healing and transformation through somatic and embodiment practices."
