Military and Veteran Lifting Club. Join us for some upper body strength training great for beginners or seasoned athletes.
Join us at Impact Fitness in Auburn, MA from 1-3 p.m. for a small group exercise session for current Military & Veterans from Massachusetts. Designed for those who are looking to improve their general strength and conditioning (to include their ACFT score if currently serving), we conduct consistent upper and lower body workouts focused on improving your fitness level and maintaining accountability. What to expect:
- Meet at 1 p.m.
- Warm up: current National Guard or Reserves will stretch the group out according to their branch of service (gives them practice and prepares us for exercise)
- Strength training for upper or lower body muscle groups utilizing a blend of free weights, machines and body weight exercises throughout the facility
- Core exercise circuit
- Cool down: current National Guard or Reserves will cool us down according to their branch of service (gives them practice and loosens us up for the rest of the day's activities)
