A small family owned real estate business is looking for a Handyman to join our team. We are looking for a Self-motivated, dependable and honest person with property maintenance skills that can work both independently and as part of our team. Responsibilities: Readying apartments during turnovers, including painting, cleaning and repair Drywalling/ light plumbing repair/ light electrical repair, light carpentry, general maintenance Snow plowing, blowing and shoveling Paint and fill gaps or crevices (on walls, ceilings etc.) Identify and report the need for major repairs Perform routine landscaping on the grounds Undertake duties as assigned or emergency tasks (e.g. shoveling snow) On Call Hours Preferred Qualifications Proven experience as handyman (willing to train the right, dedicated employee) Experience with hardware tools Basic understanding of electrical and plumbing systems Good communication skills Well-organized Pays attention to detail High school diploma or equivalent Must: Live in Quincy, or within a 20 minute drive of Quincy Be honest and trust worthy Have general knowledge of use of power and hand tools Be able to lift 50 lbs regularly Be able to climb ladders Be available for snow removal as necessary after hours and weekends Be willing to submit to a drug & background check Previous maintenance or trade experience preferred but could train the right candidate.
