Family Day 2022 Family unity was an important focus for Father Michael McGivney. Each year during the Christmas season, the McGivney Center hosts a Family Day to provide opportunity for families to spend time together while enjoying the Center’s Christmas exhibit and Christmas Tree Festival. Live Christmas music will be provided by the group “Joyful Noise,” and children’s crafts will be available to take home. Admission and parking in the Center’s underground lot are free! In the interest of public health, attendance is limited and there will be two sessions available to visitors. Please select either 12-2 PM or 2-4 PM when making your reservation. Face coverings are mandated indoors in the City of New Haven, regardless of vaccination status. Due to the nature of the event, we are asking visitors to arrive promptly for your reservation in order to enjoy your time at the Center. We will not allow entry later than a half hour before reservation end time. Visitors are welcome at the Blessed Michael McGivney Pilgrimage Center. To ensure everyone’s well-being, there are special safety measures in place. Current Hours of Operation: Wednesday and Saturday, 10 am to 4 pm. There is no admission fee, however all visitors must reserve a ticket for access. COVID Requirements and Safety Measures Please follow the guidance of McGivney Center staff. For your safety and the safety of others, please visit only if you are feeling well. To cancel your reservation, follow the instructions on your ticket or telephone the Center at 203-865-0400. Admission is free but a timed-entry ticket is required for all visitors. Please call 203-865-0400 before entering without a ticket for the present date and time. Access is not guaranteed Face coverings are required for all visitors aged two and older, even if vaccinated. Entrance is not be permitted without a face covering. Physical distancing is required; visitors should maintain at least six feet apart from others. Please follow room capacity limits and directional signage throughout the Center. Please do not touch artwork, frames, platforms, labels, or display cases. Hand sanitizer dispensers are available at entrance and throughout the Center.
