Parttime mechanic, project helper
Jobs

Description
How do I open the trunk of a 1959 TBird (hopefully not with a crowbar); and/or starting the 1979 VW beetle motor (where is it?); and/or putting together the 1960 Harley Davidson Topper scooter (which part goes where?)? My projects overwhelm me at times, yet I keep finding more. Such as a 1954 chevy pickup, and an eighties travel trailer. As I approach my four-score year’s I do not plan on slowing down just because of a flu season. How about you? I am looking for someone to help me put some of these projects together. This winter I want to upgrade the camper, finish the 1954 interior, sell the VW. Then there is the 1958 Dodge Sweptside waiting to be finished (also the 1960 Dodge Town Wagon). Does it ever end? No. But it is all fun; because we have no customers with deadlines … only me (who is mostly clueless about the direction we are taking this week). This is part-time, Monday to Friday, daytime hours. About 30 hours, plus or minus 20% (that was a test of your math skills). These projects involve mechanic flairs (a second test … for English word meanings). Do you enjoy doing mechanical projects? Do you want to control the hours you work? Read on … Would you be interested in working in office/shop located in a warehouse environment looking out at the Boise River in Garden City? Do you want to work for an “old guy” who appreciates your help in his vintage vehicle restoration business? How about a small company, with just a couple of employees? Do you want to be the primary helper for the owner (Larry … that’s me)? If you could have flexibility in your hours, would that catch your attention? All of that is possible, and maybe more, at my company. I (Larry -- the old guy) have been doing this for many, many years … and it all works! The people who have helped me in this business are great folks; they have made an interesting and enjoyable group. I require that we are drug free (no nicotine), clean language, casual in our dress, and pleasant to be around. We understand and encourage support of your child’s school/activities if that is part of your life. I am a grandfather so I make it a point to encourage this interest. Are you also a person like this? I would like to find a person who fits into this atmosphere. Tell me if you are interested by responding with an email or text. I will attempt to respond to all inquiries if that is possible (depends on the volume and intelligence of the inquiries). If you are looking for a full-time job, this is not the ad to pursue. This is a part-time job that should easily fit your schedule. Maybe you are a person who wants to work while your kids are in school, or you have retired but need to get out of the house, or want to try something new and different, or just need a couple of extra bucks? If you are looking for something to do during the week-days, and like working in a warehouse/shop, and can handle working with an old guy... then maybe this should be considered. Check me out at my website www.classicidaho.com. Thanks for any response and consideration, Larry.
