In honor of Dr.Martin Luther King Chadwick Presents the Screening of "Who We Are: A Chronicle of Racism in America”
“WHO WE ARE: A Chronicle of Racism in America” recounts both the laws and the events that contribute to our common identity as Americans. It is a compendium of historic events that presents the legal mandates codified into American government that formalized and perpetuated discrimination against people of color, particularly African-Americans, throughout our shared history. Its remarkable content exposes the myth that we have no part in the outcomes of events that took place over 150 years ago. The battle over slavery is far from over; our federal, state, and local governments have perpetuated the discrimination of people of color through clearly stated, unequivocal laws that promote marginalization and separation.
