Hi. My name is Shay. I am looking for a 3-5 bedroom by January 1st. I have been with my landlord for 3 years and 2 months now. I got sick with diabetes and had to leave my job I had worked for 15 yrs. I am planning to return when I can move to a healthier environment that will allow me to heal. I receive assistance $1600 monthly but was granted money for back rent to help pay for my rent after resignation from work that had piled up. The landlord was given the money and he told me I had more money left. Then all of a sudden a five day notice. He said he wants me to go get more funds but having another eviction on my record is not what I want after 3 yrs of good rental history. My kids have gotten jobs and we really need to move so we can all heal and get back on track with a landlord who will be fair. Please help us so I can focus on getting healthy and working again. Until then I do have the 1600 coming on December 30th. We are quiet and clean people. Please help. I am also asking for rental assistance funds to help relocate.
