Wine and Dine in handmade bowls and goblets, which you get take home! Proceeds for this event go to the Northern California Food Bank. Empty Bowls / Empty Goblets is a long-standing tradition of artists donating their pottery. The food is served in the beautiful pottery and kept by the guests. The money generated goes directly to the Northern California Food Bank. The bowls and goblets were made and donated by Penryn Workshop founder and local artist, Rodney Mott, and the organizer, Chris Thompson. The ticket includes wine and dinner and the beautiful handmade pottery. Rodney Mott has been creating with clay since 1972 and has worked as a long-time professor at many colleges. He is founder of the Penryn Workshop. Currently, he teaches art at American River College and will host the hands-on workshop WorldStoke.org March 11-14, 2022 in Penryn, CA. Rodney’s artwork is represented in numerous collections. During the “Art Coach” project, which Rodney established, he brought clay to 2,500 classrooms throughout northern California.
