Let's join us in the celebration of the most important love of your life, the one for yourself WHO: any person above 18 who identifies as a woman. WHAT: a gathering of beautiful souls. Includes free mimosas and finger food, access to my studio, and complimentary boudoir photographs. Come explore together what self-love means to us and our favorite tools and habits to honor our bodies. WHERE: my boudoir home studio in Round Rock. WHEN: January 16th, from 11 am to 2 pm. WHY: keep reading :) self-love /ˈˌself ˈləv/ noun regard for one’s own well-being and happiness (chiefly considered as a desirable rather than narcissistic characteristic). SLAY is my new project dedicated to all women out there. Self-love is such a discussed topic nowadays but sometimes we miss the tools to achieve it. My goal with this series of events is to document and collect your experience and path to help other women in this journey. My favorite tool, honestly the only one that has ever worked, has been seeing myself from the different perspectives of boudoir photographs. As women, we're constantly surrounded by unrealistic and unrelatable images of "perfect" bodies, making us often feel not tall/skinny/toned enough, our hair not luscious and silky enough, our skin not smooth enough, etc. Am I right? What if I told you that you're actually perfect and you just haven't seen yourself through the right eyes, or in this case, lens? I struggled with my body image most of my life and taking pics of myself in lingerie, in the right poses, light, and framing, left me shocked by the woman I saw. That day my entire mindset changed. It wasn't just the realization of looking much more beautiful than I thought, but it was the boost of confidence that make me feel comfortable wearing whatever I felt like, introducing myself to strangers at a party, filming that reel for Instagram to help my business grow, booking that bridal expo knowing I'll have to talk about myself and my business to so. many. people. I truly believe boudoir is a great tool in the path of self-love and I know a lot of women are not ready to invest a bunch of money in a session when they don't feel comfortable in their body, so that's why I want to offer you the chance to get a few pics during the open-house to show you how incredibly gorgeous you are.
