Description
The urgency of our times calls each of us to focus on what is essential. "I have pursued my own vision in a very singular and determined way, without knowing whether it would ever be understood or embraced." JUDY CHICAGO What are you here to create? I believe that each human is here to expand our consciousness in a way that only they can. Each of us is fractured from wholeness in a unique way and therefore shaped for a particular purpose. The closer we get to our fullest expression, the more we experience our fracture, and the greater the resistence - internal and external. When we are determined to bring our vision into the world, we will go through whatever transformation is required of us to deliver. This workshop will put you in contact with your calling, the vision you are committed to and the transformation required of you. Leveraging the amplifying power of Judy Chicago’s magnificent, large-scale work, we will move through the gallery and use reflection, neural reprogramming, somatic experiencing, music and mudra to access our full intelligences and connect to our creative capacity. In this vital, Decade to Deliver, we will examine how we each as individuals and collectively as a community of potent leaders are contributing to regeneration, nourishment, healing and care of living things. We will explore our relationship with polarity, the systems we want to change, and our own fractured self. Because this work will be deeply impactful, we ask that you come with a friend so you have someone to reflect with after the workshop. Your ticket is free (awesome, I know) but please only register if you actually plan to attend. If you are a maybe, please reach out. We will meet in the lobby. We will be breaking for lunch, if you do not want to eat in the De Young cafe, please be self relient. Intended Outcomes A meaningful conversation with the part(s) of you that are resistant to your full expressionA daily practice that will move your vision into realityAn experience of the embodied extasis of creationA clear articulation of What you are committed to creatingThe conditions required for you to do your best workThe resources and team required for you to deliver outcomesA Note from Tirza Judy Chicago’s work expresses masculine intelligence inside of feminine forms. The majority of art provides images of the feminine from the male perspective. Recently, psychedelic artists illustrated consciousness and intelligence and women artists have socialized and elevated female forms. But Judy Chicago’s work is seminal and unique both in its themes of the receptive and the oppressed and in her capacity to illustrate cosmic intelligence inside the femine. Her work is transformational. It also aligns deeply with my work in connecting people to their own creative power. I walked into the Judy Chicago exhibit at the De Young having just declared my intention to give a fresh workshop. By the third gallery, I was determined to bring the workshop to the exhibit. I stayed till closing, bought the exhibition book and raced home to craft. For 6 years, I iterated on Embodied Leadership. Those of you familiar with that program will find this new work to be an elevation of that practicum, which requires you tune in more fully to what you are creating before aligning your daily actions. If you have participated in a Contract with Calling workshop, you will find this experience prepares you to step fully into your contract with more clarity on your intended outcomes.
