The beloved story unfolds in both English and Spanish in this updated and operatic version of the classic fairy tale. In this updated and operatic version of the classic fairy tale, a family of bears dreams of taking their singing act to the big time: the world famous Garopoli Circus. Meanwhile, a butterfly net-wielding, bug-loving, and tarantula-owning Goldilocks takes off on an adventure when she stumbles upon an oh-so-tempting house filled with delicious soup and comfy furniture. The beloved story unfolds in both English and Spanish as our heroes remember the power of honesty and forgiveness. 45 minutes. Live public performances will be offered on January 17 at Cedar Rapids Public Library (10:00 AM) and Coralville Center for the Performing Arts (1:00 PM). A free, digital performance with live Zoom talkbacks is available for elementary school classrooms statewide.
