Stevens Erosion Control, Inc. is looking to add to our snow removal crews for the 2021/2022 season. We are seeking reliable individuals that can consistently show up when there is snow on the ground. You must be willing and able to work long hours and flexible shifts including weekends. If there is snow on the ground, we are working. This is a seasonal position. Wages -$18.00/hr Job Responsibilities - Use snow shovels/snow blowers to clean snow from sidewalks, steps, ramps, etc. of all snow and ice - Spread salt and deicer - Assist snow removal team with loading and unloading materials and supplies - Use equipment (Skid loaders/tractors/plow trucks) to clear parking lots according to site plan Job Requirements - Reliable transportation - Ability to lift and carry upwards of 50 lbs. - Ability to bend, stoop, and twist continuously - Ability to use equipment (tractor, truck, skid, blowers, shovels) in a safe and timely manner to complete job - Work in extreme weather conditions (including freezing temperatures) - Class A CDL is preferred If you are interested, please reply to the link above, call our office at 319-679-4990 or just stop in at 5275 Oakcrest Hill Rd SE, Hills, IA 52235 to fill out an application.
