Come ring in the New Year with us at Boone Saloon and some of the best live acts Boone has to offer! Will Easter & the Nomads: Coming of age in the shadow of the Sauratown Mountains, Will Easter learned the family traditions; working hard, enjoying life, and playing music. His father and grandfather instilled in him their gifts, talents, work ethic, and love for the nature surrounding their home. These lessons combined with inspiration from the wild calm of the land and steady roar of the river impressed on Will’s heart the inspiration for his masterful lyrics and music. Will embraced their gifts, combining them with his love and appreciation for many genres, crafting his own unique sound. You can call it “Sauratown Mountain Folk.” You can call it “Grunge Grass.”Regardless, when you listen to his album, Carolina Home, you can hear his fearless vulnerability in every note and lyric. The last few years have been incredible for Will. He has shared the stage with acts synonymous with Folk and Bluegrass like the legendary Jim Avett, David Childers, Time Sawyer, Brooks Forsyth, The Kruger Brothers, Rhonda Vincent and Danger Muffin. In 2018 he earned his bachelor’s degree from Appalachian State University, and in 2019 he recorded and released Carolina Home. From Boone and Asheville to the Triad and Charlotte, Will has become a staple of music venues and festivals throughout the Carolinas and Virginia. With a piece of every place woven into each song, his music has something for everyone, while paying homage to his roots. The road ahead for Will is exciting.Won’t you join him on this sonic journey from coming of age to love lost and found, working hard while finding peace in the every day, always culminating in the winding road leading to his Carolina Home? https://www.willeastermusic.com/ Lavier: LAVIER is an ever-evolving multi-genre bass music producer creating gossamer, temporal compositions that range from dubstep and trap, to melodic beats and lo-fi. A skilled musician, Lavier got his start with piano and guitar starting at the age of 7, and played in several bands throughout high school. Music production came about later. Lavier wasn’t particularly interested in electronic music until a friend showed him artists that would stir him to begin producing his complex sound. Countless hours of delving into the sounds of underground bass music influence his heavier cuts, while his years spent playing the guitar fuel his jazz-influenced melodic music. This is dichotomous to his off-kilter bass music, which has drawn comparisons to inspirations like Ivy Lab and Flying Lotus. Mixing and mastering songs, producing music, and doing graphic design is all in a day’s work for this hands-on artist. In addition to a myriad of self releases, Lavier has released music on The Undergrowth, VinylDigital, and More Creativity Records, and has been featured on Sine Wave Surfers, Saint Audio, PUSH Collective, and more. The Pittsburgh native has shared the decks with a wide variety of artists, playing shows with Ternion Sound, Mythm, DMVU, SoDown, Brightside, EazyBaked, QUIX, Danny Grooves, and many others. In addition to his involvement with The Undergrowth and numerous other collectives, Lavier co-founded a group called Less Than Family, which supports the music of other up-and-coming beat makers making noise in the scene. Together with the Less Than Family team, Lavier threw events in North Carolina’s rising electronic music community. Lavier’s DIY spirit shines through in his work and performances—a spirit that is becoming a rarity in a sea of jaded creators. Having played over 200 shows, Lavier still finds time to experiment in his craft. He shares that “Playing shows is just as fun as making music for me. And with having musical background, it's equally as fun do the actual music composing as it is to produce. From top to bottom, the entire experience of music making and performing just brings me tons of joy and I aim to share that feeling with others.” https://www.laviermusic.com/ Sugarfoot: Acoustic duo here to bring you foot stompin' folk songs and twisted lullabies, coated in the blues .
