Delivery Driver/Warehouse Operator - Construction Materials

We are looking for a dedicated, hard working, self-motivated individual to join our team as a delivery driver and warehouse operator. We are a commercial acoustical ceiling contractor in Fort Myers, FL. This position requires heavy lifting (most items under 50lbs, but some can be more than that) and stocking construction jobsites. Climbing of stairs with material is occasionally needed as well. Must be willing to work somewhat flexible hours (start time will vary between 6 and 7am Monday thru Friday and can finish somewhere between 2PM and 4PM typically). Occasional work on Saturdays may be needed. This is also a position that offers overtime somewhat regularly. Daily tasks will include loading of material and tools from our warehouse or supply houses, delivering this material to jobsites, cleaning of materials off of jobsites when our work is complete, checking material back in and putting away in proper locations in our warehouse. Monthly inventory counts will also be required. You will also be responsible for ensuring our company van is properly maintained and in safe working order (this does not mean physically performing the work, but alerting us to when it is due for oil changes, tire rotations and new tires, any issues that have arisen, etc.). A valid and clean drivers license is required for this job as well as a working cell phone. Experience with operating a forklift is preferred, but not required. Pay starts at $15 per hour, but is negotiable based on experience and skill set. Benefits are also offered.
