Human Trafficking Conference that brings awareness to the subject and provides identification tips for those attending Human Trafficking Conference that brings awareness to the subject and provides identification tips for law enforcement, medical professionals, school employees, substance abuse counselors and social workers. The conference will also provide the attendee with information on the agencies preventing and assisting human trafficking victims as well as the law enforcement agencies prosecuting traffickers. The conference is a two day conference planned for January 11th and 12th 2022 at King's College, Wilkes-Barre Pa. The conference is free and can be attended one day or both days. The conference will start each day at 8:00 am and run through 4:00 pm. Continental Breakfast provided each day. Lunch will be on your own. The agencies participating in this conference are the Pennsylvania State Police, PACIC, FBI Human Trafficking Task Force, Luzerne County District Attorney's Office, United States Attorney's Office, Safe Streets, CSE Institute, Pennsylvania Attorney General's Office, Luzerne County Victim Services, FBI Victim Services Unit, Monroe County District Attorney's Office, and Thomas Jefferson Hospital This conference is open to sworn law enforcement officers, medical professionals/technicians , nurses, doctors, victim service advocates, probation, parole, school administrators, guidance counselors, teachers, substance abuse counselors, social workers, child abuse advocates, lawyers, and other professionals working in domestic violence, sexual assault, human trafficking, and community assistance fields Registration is on www.eventbrite.com - Northeast Human Trafficking Conference Covid-19 Protocols/ Guidelines as per Pa Department of Health and King's College will be followed.
