Join us at the opening of Invisible, an exhibition curated by Jill Kearney featuring the work of twelve artists Please join us for a special reception to celebrate the opening of Invisible on Saturday, January 15, from 6-8 PM, free of charge. Refreshments will be served. ArtYard is pleased to present Invisible, an exhibition featuring the work of twelve artists whose practices examine omitted histories, imperceptible forces, and unspoken narratives which render that which is apparent, misleading, or incomplete. In illuminating invisible forms of labor, unspoken emotional states, and unnoticed effects of human presence, the exhibition examines what the author Svetlana Alexievich calls “the missing history — the invisible imprint of our stay on Earth and in time.” The exhibition is curated by Jill Kearney and features Monica Banks, Willie Cole, Vasiliki Katsarou, sTo Len, Phebe Macrae Corcoran, Kaitlin Pomerantz, Kelly Popoff, Sandra Ramos, Gabrielle Senza, Pavel Urkiza, Kawita Vatanajyankur, and Natalija Vujošević.
