Learn techniques to begin and develop abstract paintings. Inspired Abstract - Instructor, Barbara Carlson. This two session workshop will give you powerful tools to enter into the world of abstract painting. You’ll enter the painting process intuitively and develop layers of deep, luscious color and space. Focus will be on personal meaning, naturalness, and spatial depth, color, and flow – qualities that bring your abstract painting to a new level. Barbara believes that people are more open to learning and inspiration when they are having fun, so her classes are filled with laughter and lightness. This workshop is open to all experience levels. Students will be given encouragement and time to experiment so they can discover their personal artistic style and develop confidence. All supplies included. Second class is Sunday, January 23 at 1pm. Armory 2 Art Studio began in 2015 and has hosted hundreds of painting classes to people of all sill levels. Our Brushstrokes Painting events are a fun way to relax, enjoys time with friends, and bring home a painting that you can be proud of. We offer a variety of other classes such as several types of acrylic pour painting, watercolor, pastels, drawing, and mixed media. We also host birthday parties for kids and adults. Our monthly class schedule has something for everyone.
