Press release from Kendall County Sheriff's Office: 12/14/2021 4:00 AM 12/13/21 2021-3533, Crash with injuries: On 12/13/21 at 12:35 p.m., deputies responded to the 9000 block of Van Emmon Road in Bristol Township for a crash with injuries involving a train. Cornelius Phipps, a 75-year-old male from the 9000 block of Van Emmon Road in Bristol Township, was transported to an area hospital by Bristol-Kendall Fire Protection District for non-life-threatening injuries.  2021-3533, Crash with injuries: 2021-3540, Crash with injuries: On 12/13/21 at 1:57 a.m., deputies responded to the area of Fox River DR and River RD in Little Rock Township for a crash with injuries. Raul M Lopez, a 48-year-old male from the 200 block of College ST in Sandwich was transported to Valley West hospital for non-life threatening injuries. 2021-3541, Hit and Run Crash: On 12/13/21 at 1:57 a.m., deputies investigated a hit and run crash at Fox River DR and River RD where the driver fled the scene prior to police arrival. Raul M Lopez, a 48-year-old male from the 200 block of College ST in Sandwich was located and determined to be the driver of the crashed vehicle. Lopez was cited for leaving the scene of an accident, no valid driver's license, disobeying a stop sign and operating a vehicle with no insurance. Lopez was released on his recognizance.   The Sheriff's Office would like to remind the public that all persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
