Description

Reef safe algae eater. Healthy, happy, fully quarantined (over a year in my tank) long spine urchin. Big guy (needs a big tank, this is NOT a nano reef creature), magnificent jet black animal, pics do not do it justice. I actually have 2 of them; rehoming one or both (depending on your situation). They need a good size tank. They do an amazing job eating hair algae (the algae in the second pic was gone within days of taking it). I moved them to my sump because they developed a taste for macroalgae, which I have gotten into growing. If you do not have macro in your display tank, this will never be an issue. Most reef aquarium enthusiasts focus on coral and not macroalgae, so these guys should fit right in. Adoption fee of $50 each. It will go toward keeping other reef creatures well taken care of. I've had both of these guys for 12-13 months and they are both wonderful.
