NAPERVILLE, IL — Kids can launch homemade rockets, dance to live DJ music, watch a science show and play in bubbles and confetti to ring in the 2022 New Year when the popular "A Bubble Bash" event returns to DuPage Children's Museum (DCM) Dec. 31.
The fun-filled event's interactive activities include:
Live music from Little Miss Ann (10:30 a.m. and 12 p.m.) and Bach to Rock Do-it-yourself party rockets, confetti poppers, noisemakers and festive attire Glowing art Firework painting Science show with liquid nitrogen demonstrationNew Year's Eve 2022 countdowns at 11 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. with bubbles, confetti and moreQuiet, sensory-friendly countdowns "This event is all about creating memorable experiences, whether families are creating their own musical instruments to make some noise at the countdown or experimenting with fluorescent paint in The Studio," Chris Berg, Public Programs Manager at DuPage Children's Museum said in a news release.
Berg added, "Children will have the opportunity to play with our exhibits and also create an array of items to celebrate the new year before our 'choose your own countdown' opportunities."
Ticket sales have already clicked off for the return of Bubble Bash and pre-registration is encouraged to make sure you snag a spot. Tickets are $25 per person for DCM members and $30 for non-members. Click the link to pre-register for Bubble Bash or call 630-637-8000.
As of Dec. 15, visitors who are two years old and older must wear face masks when inside DuPage Children's Museum.
