Press release from the City of Jackson: 2021-12-14 FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Dec. 14, 2021 JACKSON, Miss– The City of Jackson is issuing a precautionary notice to some businesses over water main repair work. Work crews will be repairing a water main leak on Highway 80 which could cause some disruptions to surrounding businesses. The work will be performed beginning at midnight tonight. The City anticipates the work will take a couple of hours if no issues arise while making the repair. Constituent Services is notifying businesses ahead of the work. The following businesses will be affected during the water outage: Once water is restored a precautionary boil water notice will be issued to the affected area.
