Press release from Robbinsdale Area Schools:
2021-12-14
Greetings Noble Families! It's Computer Science Week! To celebrate as a school, we are participating in Hour of Code. Hour of Code is an event to get schools involved in computer science and was created to expose all students to the world of computer science and coding. Students that code on a regular basis build their skills in not only coding, but also in problem solving, perseverance, and computational thinking.
Below, you will find a link to a website where you will find a wide variety of activities that you can try together as a family. There are a lot of fun options! There are even opportunities for students to win prizes for completing levels on selected challenges.
I highly encourage you and your family to find one hour together over break and try some of these out. If you do, I would LOVE to see what you tried, so send me any pictures or video you take of your family fun. You can send those to [email protected] Have a great week and Happy Coding!
