Lakewood Again Changes Holiday Refuse Collection Schedule

LAKEWOOD, OH — Lakewood officials announced they are again planning changes to the holiday trash and recycling collection schedule. Instead of having delays during the week of Christmas and New Year's, as they had previously announced, there will now be delays the week after the holidays. Crews will now work through Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve. Instead, residents can expect the following schedule changes. If your refuse is usually picked up Monday, it will now be collected at 6:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 28. No other days will be impacted that week. Similarly, following New Year's Day, only Monday routes will be impacted. If your refuse is collected on Monday, it will now be collected at 6:30 am. on Tuesday, Jan. 4.
