Press release from Kildeer Countryside Community Consolidated School District 96: December 15, 2021 At its meeting Tuesday night, the KCSD 96 Board of Education announced the district's new superintendent:  Kathryn Sheridan, KCSD 96's Director of Language and Early Literacy and a former middle school assistant principal and elementary school principal Mrs. Sheridan has worked for the district for 13 years, helping to design and support student learning throughout KCSD.  She assumes the Superintendency position on July 1, 2022, from current Supt. Julie Schmidt, who has announced her plans to retire.
