Description

IREDELL COUNTY, NC — The Iredell-Statesville School board will mandate masks when students return to class after the holiday break, per a vote during their meeting this week. Students don't get out for the holiday break until Dec. 22, and return Jan. 5. Masks will be required until at least Jan. 14. This comes after Union Grove Elementary suffered a COVID-19 outbreak that forced them to go back to virtual learning, according to school officials who notified parents. Masks has been optional in Iredell-Statesville Schools.
