BIRMINGHAM, AL — The Alabama High School Athletic Association Tuesday released its new classifications for Alabama schools, which includes moving Center Point High School to Class 6A. The AHSAA reclassifies every two years by enrollment.
Center Point will move up from Class 5A to 6A in football, and will join Region 6, which now looks like this:
