Construction General Laborer – No experience required

We are a small construction company hiring for a general laborer. This is not a skilled position, although experience is a bonus. Compensation for this position is an entry level wage of $15 per hour for first 30 days. After 30 days wage will increase to $18 per hour. At this point you have the ability to work up the pay scale ladder as described. Performance will be assessed, and wage is subject to increase based on punctuality, willingness to listen and learn, and being able to perform tasks without being directed. A general laborer’s duties include but are not limited to: Level 1 General Laborer $15 • Gathering and organizing tools • Loading and unloading equipment and materials • Masking and other site prep tasks • Assisting journeymen with tasks • Cleanup of job sites • Cleaning and organizing of tools and equipment • Spending time on training to move to the next level of pay Level 2 General Laborer $18 Level 3 General Laborer $20 Level 4 Journeyman Apprentice I $22 Level 5 Journeyman Apprentice II $24 Level 6 Journeyman Apprentice III $26 Level 7 Journeyman I $28 Level 8 Journeyman II $30 Level 9 Journeyman III $35 Potential to work on Government jobs is subject to punctuality, experience, and dedication $47-$64 per hour. This pay ladder is dependent on your interest and dedication to learn and demonstrate the skills that each level requires to be moved to the next level.
