The Association of Zoos and Aquariums got it right. They didn't bow down to pay homage to "the history, the legend, the past practices" of the great Jack Hanna, especially after it was revealed that even the great Jack Hanna did things that were nefarious and violated rules. Now if we can just get our elected politicians do their best to protect the citizens of Franklin County from the people at the zoo that feel that they are entitled to misuse tax funds for personal gain. Why has there not been criminal charges brought about against the higher-ups at The Columbus Zoo who stole, mismanaged, misspent and misused the funds of the zoo ???? The Zoo receives public tax monies from Franklin County and should be responsible to Franklin County Comissioners for the mis-use of these funds. The Franklin County Prosecuter should be charging those who did these acts. These people should be arrested and be perp walked, just as Mike Davis was. If they are found guilty, they should serve time in jail and be required to repay the funds, plus interest, to the Zoo. When will our Public Servants actually serve and protect the public???
