The Operations Manager is a key leader in our company and plays an important role in the growth and success of our company. This position holds the basic responsibility for management of the maintenance division including full-scope management of teams, customer service, safety, selling and business decisions. This includes developing and adhering to the annual budget cost & profitability goals for the maintenance division, materials purchase & cost controls, personnel needs, assistance with development of maintenance estimates, sales and overseeing equipment maintenance needs along with all expectations of clients for a given territory. Job Duties: Management • Full-scope management and leadership of field teams for maintenance of residential & commercial properties. o Interview, hire and manage employee performance for field team. o Develop and facilitate training for direct reports and field team o Coach team members in The Lawn Specialist processes and procedures o Lead team to ensure exceptional quality service o Manage teams to reduce damages at client’s properties and oversee repairs when necessary. o Planning & scheduling field operations to exceed client expectations. o Oversee equipment maintenance and needs Customer Service • Proactively communicate with clients while developing and maintaining a positive relationship and ensuring excellent service levels are being met. o Empathetic relationship skills, with good listening and win-win problem solving skills. Leadership • Identify and pursue best practices that align to strategic goals. • Strong sense of urgency and ability to make fact-based decisions under pressure. • Verifiable record of responsibility, reliability, and customer-based project management. • Fostering a work environment where Safety is recognized as “The Tool for Life".
