Apply Now: Location: Kansas City, KS Division: Road Runner RR-MO-KCI-KCIAA-FTTOWTRUCKDRIVER Job Scope: Operate Tow Truck in a safe manner loading, transporting and unloading vehicles to and from auction sites and customer premises. Job Responsibilities: Operate Tow vehicle and load and unload in a safe manner in compliance with all applicable company policies Conduct vehicle loading on to Tow Truck Respond to service calls by driving Tow truck to disabled vehicle and performing vehicle service as required Complete all required documentation associated with vehicle transport or service Coordinate assistance when a vehicle is inoperable or needs service or gas Assist customers and coworkers as needed Drive assigned vehicles through auction lanes on sale day, if necessary Drive vehicles to and from auto auctions and dealerships, if necessary Assist with getting vehicles operating as needed including inflating tires or jump-starting vehicles using a battery box and air tank if necessary Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor Qualifications: 2+ Years’ Experience in Tow Truck Operation Experience with Transporting vehicles preferred Valid driver’s license and safe driving record required. Successful completion of background check and drug test Successful completion of a driving skills test Ability to drive vehicles with standard and automatic transmission preferred but not required Ability to work in a fast paced and team-oriented environment. Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time, ability to lift up to 30 lbs. Ability to enter and exit vehicles repeatedly 18+ years of age Good problem-solving and organizational skills Work Schedule: Monday through Friday approximately 8:00am – 6pm Primary Work Location: Road Runner Services at ADESA Kansas City 15511 Adesa Drive Belton, MO 64012 Contact: Interviews by appointment only.
