Hey all, thanks for checking out my ad. I’m a singer-songwriter who produces tracks at home. The one thing I’m not good at is drums. I am seeking someone who can channel some Stewart Copeland style rhythm for my riddims~
My music is retro/electro/synth/reggae/pop. (A mouthful I know..) I need someone who is creative, easy going, understands both reggae and pop music. And the kicker, I need someone who plays an electric kit as I will need different drum sounds depending on the song. Plus, it’s just infinitely easier to deal with on the production side of things.
I also need: female singer or singers for back ups and an occasional duet. But I’m not opposed to writing a lead here and there for the right person. You can be the bands Sheila E~
Keys. Can ALWAYS use a solid keys player/ synth head~
Bass guitarist would be nice for live gigs. But I’m. It at that point yet and do all my own bass in studio currently.
I have about 11 songs in different states of production but I’m excited about the material. Two are being professionally mixed at the moment so I only have one song posted that is currently unmixed. But it showcases the level of drumming I’m looking for. (This cat is from Spain and did me a favor) the song itself is kinda sad, my other material is more upbeat. Anyway, just pay attention the drumming’ hah
Thanks!
