Established General Contractor looking for full time CARPENTERS / FRAMERS who are reliable, hardworking, and work well individually and within a team. Must be authorized to work in the US with a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. Pay is $28-$32/hour depending on experience. Experience in Carpentry and basic skillset in the trade is required. This is for full time position, Monday through Friday, typically from 7am-4pm. Work areas are in Greater Portland and Southern Maine region. Benefits include 401K, Holiday pay and Vacation time after a 90-day waiting period. JOB DECRIPTION The position consists of working in a crew constructing, installing and repairing structures. You will work with a variety of materials including wood, concrete, composites, metal, steel, etc. while safely using hand tools, woodworking tools and power tools. Typical work includes framing, installing doors & windows, siding installation and deck building. Other duties may include repairing or building cabinets, doors, frames and trim. Additional duties may be assigned, including cleaning up worksite debris and moving materials around a jobsite. Employee should be able to follow directions, maintain a clean workspace, adhere to safety guidelines and possess good time management/organizational skills.
