Hello we are looking for Romy’s forever home. My partner was traveling from Houston to see me in Georgetown when he saw a dog on the side of the highway shaking and scared. He pulled over and took Romy to my home in Georgetown. He is so sweet and is chipped. We contacted the owners and I believe they dropped the dog off on the side of the highway hoping he died. When we called them they seemed shocked and didn’t even want to come get him. I called them back and they stated they did not want him. Between me and Brian we have 4 dogs and it’s just not possible to keep him. We will foster him until he finds a forever home. He is sort of potty trained loves to play with other dogs. I don’t know the age, his previous family was no help with details or well anything. I have had great success on Craigslist with finding amazing people taking in strays or friends dogs who couldn’t take care of them. I think he will fit in with any family really he has been amazing with my 3 pugs and Brian’s German Shepard he has some issues that we have not yet determined like missing hair around his eyes and nose. He for sure needs to be taken to a vet and if he’s not adopted by the 2nd of January we will be taking him to our vet.
