Beginner bassist looking for people to play with

Hey, y’all! I’m a woman in my 30s who recently started playing bass and I’d love to find some folks (drummer, guitarist) to play with. Either you’re a beginner too or you don’t mind working with people who haven’t been playing for very long but are dedicated to getting better and having fun. I’m not super picky about what we’d play at this point - my musical interests span punk, classic rock, soul, folk, 90s ish alternative, etc. but I’m playing anything and everything at the moment to try to improve my playing and see what feels right. I’m looking for something pretty casual but with people who are interested in building some community, getting creative and having a a good time. I’d love to get together once a week or once every other week. One hurdle for me is that I don’t drive and so I’m ideally looking for some folks near me - I’m in El Cerrito. I don’t have a practice space but I’m open to contributing to find one. I’m a parent and I’m probably looking at getting together on a Monday, Friday or Saturday after my kid is in bed. Or if you also happen to have the late mornings/early afternoons open on weekdays like I do, that would be super great.
